Attention families of 2nd graders! Help us shower our teachers and staff with love during the month of February with donations to our treat trolley! Just a reminder, all donations of food and drinks should be individually-packaged, nut-free, and store-bought. Donations should be dropped off at the front office by January 31st. Due to forecasted single digit temperatures and below zero windchills in the morning, Athens City Schools will be closed again Wednesday, January 22,2025. Kids Connection will also be closed tomorrow. Please stay warm and take precautions if you must be outdoors.
A few tips to help keep from spreading germs during this cold and flu season. Wash your child’s jackets, backpacks, shoes, etc and help us fight off the flu and other germs. You can also wipe down their lunch boxes, binders, etc with disinfectant wipes. Help us keep colds and flu out of our school.

ACPS PTO Announcement: It's back to school tomorrow and hopefully back to a normal schedule again! Make sure you have all of our spring semester meeting days and times on your calendar. We meet on Fridays, once a month, at noon so feel free to join on your lunch break. We would love to have you there!

We want to thank our city public works department and our maintenance and operations department for their hard work in getting our roadways, parking lots and sidewalks cleared and treated during this most recent winter event.
Please be cautious in your travels to and from school. Travel only when and where you feel it is safe. Allow extra time, be aware of patches that may have a higher tendency to freeze overnight, bridges and overpasses, and any areas with standing water.
