September 7th is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day. ACS staff and students are encouraged to wear GREEN on Monday, September 9th to show support and raise awareness for Muscular Dystrophy.
Mid-terms were sent home with students today. Please know that parent/teacher conferences can be scheduled by emailing your child's teacher at any time. If you would like to meet with all of your child's teachers, please send an email request to Mrs. Dingess at rdingess@athensk8.net.

ACS CSH and School Nutrition are teaming up to share some helpful info each month. The month of August we are focusing on the benefits of eating Melons. Melons have high high water content, low in calories and provide excellent source of Vitamins A and C.
Did you know? One of the most common types of melons is the muskmelon, or cantaloupe. Other melons include the watermelon, honeydew, and canary. Its a great time of year to enjoy a delicious slice of melon.
Fall Picture Day is TOMORROW for ACMS students! No need to send money. Proofs will be sent home at a later date.
