ACIS Cougars both got wins tonight in the Cleveland Christmas Tournament.
First up the boys defeated Charleston 21-17. Jude Hicks led the cougars with 15 points. Also scoring was Eli Lawson (4), Noah Hampton (1) and Wylder McDonald (1).
The girl's finished the night with a 20-10 win over Benton. Leading the Lady Cougars was Janiyah Arnwine with 7 points. London Stone (4), Kynlee Simpson (4), Charlotte Howard (3), and Mia Mejia-Ruiz (2) also contributed to the win.

Thank you to ACM wonderful, wonderful PTO for the special treats and coffee bar before our long break! We have the best! We appreciate you all and thank you for taking such good care of us.
Some of the ACIS K-Kids were able to meet today to deliver the Christmas baskets they made for Athens City Police Department, Athens City Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance Services. Students wanted to wish the first responders a "Warm Holiday Season" with things to help keep them warm such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soups, hand warmers, and gloves. Thank you to all first responders from ACIS K-Kids for what you do during this holiday season as well as all year long.
Please note that due to increase in illness in our district, Mr. Greene’s retirement celebration has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 3rd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Athens City Primary/Athens City Intermediate School.
Reminder- ACS Tuition Families: 2nd semester tuition is due. Payments can be made Monday– Friday from 9:00-3:00 p.m. during Christmas Break at the Administration Building located at 943 Crestway Dr. For questions, call 745-1516.
What turned out to be the last day before Christmas break ended with an exciting Kickball Intramurals Championship. Between the 1st two games, Mr. Armstrong fulfilled his obligation of singing "Let it Go" for the entire school because the students brought in more than 3000 socks for K-Kids Sock Drive. #ExcellenceIs
